IgniteRF + QuantumRF
IgniteRF by InMode represents the next generation of minimally invasive radiofrequency-assisted face and body contouring available at PFRANKMD by Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank.
Building on technologies including FaceTite and BodyTite, which Dr. Frank has incorporated into customized facial and body rejuvenation procedures for years, the IgniteRF platform expands his ability to address loose skin, localized fat and changing contours with technologies including QuantumRF, FaceTite Turbo and BodyTite Turbo.
Rather than relying on one device or one treatment for every patient, Dr. Frank uses these technologies as part of a customized treatment plan based on the patient's anatomy, skin laxity, fat distribution and aesthetic goals.
For appropriate patients, IgniteRF procedures can help bridge the gap between completely non-invasive treatments and more extensive excisional surgery.
What Is IgniteRF?
IgniteRF is an advanced radiofrequency platform designed for minimally invasive face and body procedures.
The system brings together several RF technologies that allow Dr. Frank to treat different depths, tissue types and anatomical areas. Depending on the patient, an IgniteRF treatment may incorporate:
QuantumRF
A NEW minimally invasive fractionated radiofrequency technology designed for soft-tissue contraction. QuantumRF delivers controlled bipolar RF energy beneath the skin and is available in different handpiece sizes so treatment can be adapted to smaller facial areas or larger body areas.
BodyTite Turbo
The next generation of BodyTite technology for larger body areas. BodyTite Turbo uses radiofrequency-assisted technology to address skin laxity and localized fat while providing enhanced control for body contouring procedures.
FaceTite Turbo
Designed for smaller, more delicate treatment areas, FaceTite Turbo gives physicians greater control when treating areas such as the lower face, jawline and neck.
The technology used is determined by the area being treated and what Dr. Frank is trying to accomplish at each tissue level.
What Is QuantumRF?
QuantumRF is a minimally invasive fractionated radiofrequency treatment designed for procedures where soft-tissue contraction is needed.
Unlike external skin-tightening devices that deliver energy from the surface of the skin, QuantumRF delivers controlled radiofrequency energy below the skin, allowing treatment of deeper tissue while preserving the skin's surface.
QuantumRF is available in multiple handpiece sizes, giving Dr. Frank the ability to customize treatment based on the patient's anatomy and the size of the treatment area.
This makes QuantumRF particularly useful within Dr. Frank's layered approach to rejuvenation, where different technologies may be used to treat fat, deeper tissue, skin laxity and surface texture separately.
The PFRANKMD Approach: Treating the Right Layer
At PFRANKMD, there is rarely one device that does everything.
Dr. Frank's approach to facial and body rejuvenation focuses on identifying what is actually creating the concern.
- Excess or localized fat
- Loose skin
- Loss of collagen and elasticity
- Changes in the deeper soft tissue
- Surface texture
- Muscle or structural changes
- A combination of several factors
This distinction is particularly important when treating the jawline, neck and body. A patient with loose skin may require a different treatment than a patient with excess fat. Many patients have both.
IgniteRF gives Dr. Frank another way to customize treatment across those different layers.
From FaceTite and BodyTite to FaceTite Turbo and BodyTite Turbo
FaceTite and BodyTite have long been part of Dr. Frank's minimally invasive treatment options for patients who need more correction than an external skin-tightening treatment can provide but may not require, or may not yet be ready for, traditional excisional surgery.
IgniteRF advances that treatment category.
The platform includes the newer FaceTite Turbo and BodyTite Turbo technologies, along with QuantumRF, allowing Dr. Frank to select or combine technologies based on the treatment area.
Think of it less as replacing the philosophy behind FaceTite and BodyTite and more as expanding what Dr. Frank can do within that treatment category.
What Can IgniteRF and QuantumRF Treat?
IgniteRF treatments may be considered for patients concerned with:
- Loose or sagging skin
- Lower-face laxity
- Early jowling
- Loss of jawline definition
- Submental fullness
- Loose neck skin
- Localized stubborn fat
- Abdominal skin laxity
- Upper-arm laxity
- Flanks and waistline
- Inner or outer thighs
- Knees
- Areas of skin laxity following significant weight loss
- Changes in skin and body contours after weight loss associated with GLP-1 medications
Treatment areas and technology selection vary based on individual anatomy.
IgniteRF for the Face and Neck
One of Dr. Frank's core philosophies in treating the aging lower face is determining whether a patient needs fat reduction, tissue contraction, resurfacing, structural support or surgery.
For appropriate patients, minimally invasive RF treatments can occupy an important space between non-invasive skin tightening and a surgical facelift or neck lift.
FaceTite Turbo and QuantumRF may be used to address areas including:
- Jawline
- Jowls
- Under the chin
- Lower face
- Neck
When necessary, Dr. Frank may combine RF tightening with additional technologies or procedures to address other components of facial aging.
IgniteRF for the Body
Body contouring becomes more complicated when stubborn fat and loose skin occur together.
Removing fat alone does not necessarily address laxity. Likewise, tightening the skin without addressing unwanted fat may not create the desired contour.
BodyTite Turbo and QuantumRF allow Dr. Frank to incorporate soft-tissue contraction into a customized body-contouring procedure.
Common treatment areas may include:
- Abdomen
- Flanks
- Waist
- Upper arms
- Inner and outer thighs
- Knees
- Bra-line areas
- Other localized areas of laxity
IgniteRF After Weight Loss
Significant weight loss can improve overall health and body composition while also revealing changes in skin elasticity and contour.
This has become an increasingly common concern among patients experiencing substantial weight loss, including patients using GLP-1 medications as part of a physician-directed weight-management program.
The correct treatment depends on the amount of remaining fat, the degree of skin laxity and whether excess skin requires surgical removal.
For patients who do not require an excisional procedure, IgniteRF and QuantumRF may be considered as part of a minimally invasive treatment plan designed to improve tissue contraction and contour.
A consultation is essential because not all loose skin can or should be treated with an energy-based procedure.
Combining IgniteRF With MicroLipo
Dr. Frank frequently approaches body contouring by treating fat and skin as two separate but related components.
For patients with stubborn localized fat and laxity, IgniteRF technology may be combined with minimally invasive liposuction techniques such as PFRANKMD MicroLipo.
Fat can be strategically reduced to improve shape and proportion, while RF technology is used to address tissue contraction and skin laxity.
The objective is not simply to remove the greatest amount of fat. The goal is to create a smoother, more balanced and natural-looking contour.
Can IgniteRF Be Combined With Morpheus8?
Yes. Different RF technologies can address different tissue depths and treatment goals.
Depending on the patient, Dr. Frank may incorporate IgniteRF technology with Morpheus8 or Morpheus8 Burst, particularly when both deeper tissue contraction and more superficial remodeling are desired.
Other procedures may also be incorporated into a customized treatment plan when appropriate.
At PFRANKMD, combination treatment does not mean using every available technology. It means using the smallest combination of treatments necessary to address the patient's specific concerns.
IgniteRF vs. Non-Invasive Skin Tightening
PFRANKMD offers numerous skin-tightening technologies because different patients require different levels of correction.
External treatments such as XERF or Ultherapy may be appropriate for patients seeking non-invasive tightening without incisions.
IgniteRF and QuantumRF occupy a different category. Because the energy is delivered beneath the skin, these procedures are minimally invasive and may be considered when greater tissue contraction is needed.
Patients with more significant excess skin may still be better candidates for surgical removal. The best treatment is determined during consultation.
Who Is a Candidate for IgniteRF or QuantumRF?
Ideal candidates may include patients who:
- Have mild to moderate skin laxity
- Have localized areas of fat combined with loose skin
- Want more correction than a completely non-invasive treatment may provide
- Are not yet candidates for, or do not currently want, more extensive excisional surgery
- Have maintained a relatively stable weight
- Are in good general health
- Understand that results vary based on anatomy, skin quality and the extent of treatment
Dr. Frank and the PFRANKMD team will determine whether IgniteRF, another technology or a combination approach is most appropriate.
What to Expect During Treatment
Your treatment begins with a consultation and evaluation of the areas you would like to improve.
Dr. Frank will assess factors including:
- Skin quality
- Degree of laxity
- Fat distribution
- Facial or body anatomy
- Previous procedures
- Treatment goals
- Expected recovery
Many minimally invasive RF procedures can be performed using local anesthesia, although anesthesia and treatment protocols depend on the extent and combination of procedures being performed.
A small access point allows the selected RF technology to be introduced beneath the skin. Controlled energy is then delivered to the targeted tissue.
Treatment time varies substantially depending on the number and size of the areas being treated and whether additional procedures are performed during the same session.
Results and Recovery
Recovery varies according to the treatment area and whether IgniteRF is performed alone or in combination with procedures such as MicroLipo or Morpheus8.
Temporary effects may include:
- Swelling
- Bruising
- Tenderness
- Tightness
- Temporary numbness or altered sensation
Many patients can return to light daily activity within several days, although more extensive combination procedures may require additional recovery.
Some contour improvement may become noticeable as swelling resolves.
Tissue contraction and collagen remodeling continue over the following weeks and months, so results generally evolve gradually rather than appearing all at once.
Dr. Frank will provide individualized recovery instructions based on the specific procedure performed.

Why PFRANKMD for IgniteRF + QuantumRF?
Technology alone does not determine the result.
Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank has spent decades developing minimally invasive approaches to facial and body rejuvenation and is recognized for his work with aesthetic technologies.
His philosophy remains simple: There is no single best treatment. There is only the treatment, or combination of treatments, that is best for the individual patient.
IgniteRF expands the tools available within that philosophy.
Rather than applying the same procedure to every patient, Dr. Frank evaluates the relationship between fat, skin, soft tissue and overall anatomy to determine how each area should be treated.
