TruSculptiD uses radiofrequency energy for deep tissue heating that promotes the non-invasive removal of fat and the tightening of the overlying skin. In addition to reducing fat, TruSculpt treatments can help improve skin tone and can also improve the appearance of cellulite. The device is comfortable, safe, and effective technology clinically proven to permanently eliminate fat cells in stubborn areas around your abdomen and flanks.

TruSculptiD results can be seen 6-12 weeks after treatment, though patients may see up to a 24% fat reduction after a single treatment. Due to the RF, TruSculptiD can also achieve mild skin tightening and skin laxity.

Ideal Candidates for TruSculptiD

Ideal candidates are patients with stubborn unwanted fat that is resistant to diet and exercise – especially those with that last little bulge. The procedure can treat both small and larger areas in many areas of the body, including more challenging areas that other devices on the market may not be able to address. TruSculptiD has the capability to treat multiple areas at once (i.e. love handles and abdomen simultaneously).

TruSculptiD is not for patients who are pregnant or use a pacemaker.

There is minimal discomfort; after a 15-minute session, patients may feel sensations equivalent to a hot stone massage or the feeling when you first dip your toe in a hot tub.

Preparation for the procedure begins with cleansing the skin, followed by the provider placing applicators on the treatment area.

How much does TruSculpt iD cost?

The cost for TruSculpt iD varies depending on the number of applicators used. Providers may apply an average of 4-6 applicators priced at $500 per applicator. During your complimentary consultation, your provider will discuss treatment options with you.

Would TruSculpt work on a small buffalo hump?

Tumescent Liposuction may be the more effective option for buffalo hump, with a limited (less than 24 hour) treatment recovery.

How much downtime can be expected?

There is no downtime; patients may experience mild pinkness to the skin after for a few hours.

How many treatments of Trusculpt do I need?

The average plan includes two to three Trusculpt treatments. Like other non-invasive fat removal treatments, there is a small treatment area, so multuple procedures yield the best results.

Is Trusculpt similar to Coolsculpt?

Trusculpt is similar in the sense that it’s a non-invasive fat removal device like Coolsculpt, but it uses heat, not cold. Coolsculpt, while effective, has a higher risk for complications.

Can fat removed in the lower back grow back after Trusculpt?

Yes, fat can accumulate after TruSculpt iD treatment recovery. We recommend staying within 5-10% of your body weight to maintain the effects of treatment.

Can Trusculpt be used on men who have fat tissue in their breast area?

At PFRANKMD, we do not recommend non-invasive treatments for the breast area. Tumescent Liposuction may be a better option. If there is a significant amount of loose skin, surgery may be required.

Can I do a Trusculpt treatment while breastfeeding?

Yes. You can complete laser treatments for the body while breastfeeding, though TruSculpt iD is not for those who are pregnant.
