The Varithena Procedure
Performed in-office at PFRANKMD, the treatment typically takes less than an hour. After cleansing the skin, the microfoam is gently injected into the targeted vein. The foam fills and treats the diseased vein, causing it to collapse and be reabsorbed by the body over time. The treatment is generally well-tolerated, with minimal discomfort.
Recovery and Results
Following your procedure, a compression stocking will be applied and should be worn as directed.
