Most patients can immediately return to their daily activities. To avoid the filler settling unevenly, patients should keep their head in an upright position for a period of four to six hours following treatment. The first night following the procedure patients should sleep in a position that avoids pressure on the injected areas.

Restylane and Juvéderm injections have results that appear more gradually as hyaluronic acid settles in to increase and maintain hydration.
