Peptide Therapy
Advancing Aesthetic and Longevity Healthcare with Peptide Therapy
What Are Peptides?
Why Peptide Therapy?
As we age, the natural production of key peptides in the body declines, contributing to fatigue, weight gain, reduced muscle tone, poor sleep, joint pain, and visible signs of aging. Peptide therapy addresses this decline by:
-
Stimulating collagen production for firmer, more youthful skin
-
Enhancing fat metabolism and muscle development
-
Improving cognitive focus and memory
-
Supporting hormone balance and libido
-
Accelerating healing post-injury or procedure
-
Promoting deeper, more restorative sleep

Peptides for skin aging are a popular topic with products ranging from topical to injectable treatments. GHK-Cu is one of these buzz peptides that has show significant efficacy in human studies to promote skin elasticity and collagen production when used TOPICALLY! Unfortunately, people are injecting this research only, not for human use peptide directly into their bodies. Currently, there is zero safety or efficacy data to support this. In fact, the buzzworthy ‘glow stack ‘which combines injectable GHK-CU with BP157 and TB 500 (presumable tissue repair peptides) not only has little of efficacy but also risks of mixing these peptides together in one syringe. Because of molecule stability issues this combination can prove ineffective in the least and even dangerous to your health given the nefarious sourcing of these unregulated products that are sold for profit by the prescribers. At PFRANKMD we take your health seriously prescribing the safest and most effective treatments in regenerative aesthetics.

Achieving the best possible outcome from facial plastic surgery extends far beyond the operating room. Post-surgical care plays a critical role in supporting healing, enhancing results, and maintaining facial harmony over time. Immediate postoperative management focuses on controlling swelling and bruising through modalities such as lymphatic drainage, cold compresses, and, when appropriate, vascular laser treatments like VBeam. These therapies can minimize inflammation, reduce discoloration, and accelerate visible recovery.
Ensuring that incisions heal cleanly and without complications is also essential. This involves proper wound care, scar prevention strategies, and sometimes the early use of treatments like silicone gels or light-based therapy to minimize scar visibility. Neuromodulators (such as Botox or Dysport) may also be used in the early healing stages to reduce tension on healing incisions and prevent the formation of dynamic wrinkles.
As healing progresses, the focus shifts toward refinement and long-term maintenance. Cosmetic injectables—including hyaluronic acid fillers, biostimulatory agents like Sculptra, and neuromodulators—can help restore volume, smooth fine lines, and enhance surgical outcomes without the need for further invasive procedures. These treatments are especially effective in maintaining youthful contours and prolonging the benefits of surgery.
Ultimately, collaboration between a skilled facial plastic surgeon and an experienced cosmetic dermatologist ensures a 360-degree approach to rejuvenation. By combining surgical precision with advanced aesthetic maintenance, patients can enjoy natural-looking, long-lasting results that evolve beautifully over time.

Peptide treatments are an exciting and rapidly advancing therapeutic branch of health and aesthetics that are getting an enormous amount of attention. Currently there are many peptides regularly prescribed that have been well studied for safety and efficacy. Unfortunately, there are also many peptides that have minimal to no formal human studies in a completely unregulated, hyper commotatized, and internet hyped market. People that are interested should be wary at the very least . Peptides are serious medical therapies that are not without risk. They require strict real time monitoring by a physician using bloodwork , body composition scans and health screenings for chronic diseases such as cancer and diabetes. Because many peptides have not been approved for any medical use, their sourcing can be nefarious- often coming from poorly monitored compounding pharmacies or resold from china labeled ‘not for human use , research only’. At PFRANKMD we prescribe and monitor responsibly. We remain enthusiastic about the future of these compounds in regenerative aesthetics but strongly recommend seeing legitimate physician experts in the field while undergoing strict monitoring. #peptides #longevity proagingplaybook
𝐈𝐬 “𝐆𝐋𝐏’𝐝” 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐒𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝?
Two years after I coined the term “Ozempic Face,” I’m seeing the next evolution in aesthetics.
This time, the trend is called “GLP’d” (pronounced Glypped).
Rapid weight loss on GLP-1s led to facial hollowing and premature aging, what I called Ozempic Face. What I’m seeing now is very different.
Today, I’m observing normal-weight individuals using low-dose GLP-1s not primarily for weight loss, but for reducing systemic inflammation, excess water weight, and bloating.
As inflammation and fluid retention go down, facial swelling decreases. The result is subtle but noticeable: sharper contours and more visible natural bone structure.
The drug helps define what’s already there. When inflammation and fluid retention go down, cheekbones, jawlines, and facial angles naturally emerge without over-reliance on fillers.
Unlike Ozempic Face, which stemmed from excessive fat and volume loss, being GLP’d reflects controlled refinement on an already lean frame, with a focus on natural geometry rather than artificial enhancement.
I’m also seeing the rise of “GLP’d and Ripped,” where patients pair GLP-1 therapy with protein optimization, strength training, creatine, and peptide protocols to preserve muscle mass while improving overall definition.
This is an aesthetic and metabolic shift.
It’s about clarity, structure, and balance.
As individuals age, particularly men, they may notice the development of prominent lines on both the front and back of their necks. These lines often result from a combination of factors, including the natural thickness of the skin in that area and the cumulative effects of sun damage over the years.
The skin on the neck is thinner and often more susceptible to these signs of aging than some other body parts.
To effectively treat these neck lines, several advanced cosmetic procedures can be used.
In addition to injectable treatments, laser therapies can offer substantial results. Resurfacing lasers, like fractional CO2 lasers, specifically target the deeper layers of the skin to promote the growth of new, healthy skin while minimizing the appearance of existing lines.
Patients with significant neck lines have achieved impressive results after just one session of fractional CO2 laser treatment. This procedure helps to stimulate collagen remodeling, resulting in smoother skin texture and a decrease in the depth of wrinkles.
Overall, a combination of filler treatments and laser resurfacing can provide a comprehensive approach to combating neck lines, restoring a more youthful and smooth appearance to this often-overlooked area.

We welcome back Dr. Jake Deutsch, founder and director of Oakwood Precision Medicine and our go-to longevity expert, to break down what peptides actually are, how they work, and where science ends, and speculation begins.
Peptides and regenerative medicine are reshaping how we think about health, aging, aesthetics, and longevity, but as this space rapidly evolves, it is also filled with hype, confusion, and real risks when used without proper understanding or oversight.
Together, we discuss:
• What peptides are and how they are regulated
• The role of GLP-1 peptides in weight loss, metabolic health, and longevity
• The difference between strategic use and misuse, including concerns around muscle loss, bone health, and so-called “Ozempic face”
• The most talked-about peptides in longevity and aesthetics and how they are administered
• The risks of stacking and cycling and what proper monitoring should really look like
• Why the conversation is shifting from lifespan alone to vitality, quality of life, and optimized aging
• How beauty from the inside out is changing aesthetic medicine, from lifestyle and supplements to advanced regenerative tools
This is a grounded, science-forward conversation about using powerful tools responsibly, safely, and with intention for long-term health.

Aesthetics for men are no longer about vanity. They’re about longevity.
As Dr. Frank explains, “The big rise in aesthetic procedures for men is happening right now because of the longevity boom.” Men who have long focused on fitness, supplements, and performance are now applying that same optimization mindset to their skin, face, and body.
At 𝐏𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐌𝐃, this shows up as a demand for subtle, thoughtful treatments that help men look as good as they feel, especially as longevity tools like GLP-1s and peptides become more mainstream.

Cosmetic treatments are increasingly viewed as part of a broader longevity and performance strategy.
• 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭
Most men prefer conservative, low-commitment treatments at first, like Botox and lasers, because they’re “afraid of looking too different.”
• 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐞
Younger men may seek structural enhancements they never had, while middle-aged men are more focused on looking rested, healthier, and less tired rather than altered.
• 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭
Seeing public figures who still look natural and masculine has helped normalize aesthetic care for men, reinforcing that good work should enhance, not announce itself.
Dr. Frank’s philosophy is simple: aesthetics should support confidence, vitality, and individuality, helping patients age well without looking altered.

After pregnancy, many women notice stretch marks as the skin stretches and tears to accommodate rapid change.
While the body does begin to repair itself naturally, stretch marks don’t always fade completely on their own.
Laser treatments can safely and effectively accelerate the healing process, improving skin texture, tone, and elasticity by stimulating collagen and skin regeneration.
As early as one month postpartum, or once your OB/GYN gives approval, laser therapy can be started. The sooner treatment begins, the better the results and often the fewer sessions needed.
Every body and every pregnancy is different, achieving optimal results may require a customized combination of advanced laser technologies tailored specifically to your skin.
If you’re ready to feel confident in your skin again and support your body’s recovery with expert care, call (212) 327-2919 to schedule a consultation and learn which stretch mark treatment is right for you.
