Ann Frank has worked in Cosmetic Dermatology for over two decades. Together with her brother, world-renowned Cosmetic Dermatologist Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank, she created PFRANKMD, the most prominent and internationally recognized brand in the aesthetics and wellness industry. Having worked alongside Dr. Frank while developing the PFRANKMD brand since its inception, she knows intimately the dynamics of patient care, technology, treatment protocols, and post-care, as well as business operations, skincare research and development, and media on a global scale.
Born and raised in Manhattan, Ann attended the Horace Mann School and New York University. She received her Master’s Degree in European Decorative Arts from Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum. Ann is a fashion, culture, and design historian; With an academic approach and strong aesthetic sensibility, she fueled her knowledge into the fashion industry as well as the appraisal of antiques and decorative arts, marketing, and branding through her experience at Christie’s Auction House, Doyle Galleries, and The New School. For over twenty years, while building Dr. Frank’s practice and the PFRANKMD brand, Ann also served as a part-time assistant professor at Parsons School of Fashion, teaching fashion history in the context of the various arts to undergraduate and continuing education students. Ann regularly lectured at The New York School of Interior Design and was a guest lecturer at Pratt School of Design and Soho House, sharing her knowledge of fashion, art, and design history.
Ann was a founding participant in the LVMH Moët Hennessy Fundamentals in Luxury Retail Training Program which provides bilingual job seekers with training and job development opportunities in luxury retail through a unique program created by the Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) in partnership with the luxury retail provider LVMH and Parsons School of Design with a mission to promote social and economic empowerment of Chinese American, immigrant and low-income communities.
As a mentor, Ann enjoys working as a team which has enabled substantial growth of the PFRANKMD brand; What began as a family-run small business with her brother now consists of over 45 providers and staff with multiple locations and specialties. A brand that has influenced hundreds of thousands of patients worldwide while still maintaining the DNA of what inspired PFRANKMD from the beginning; Family, creativity, dedication, and heritage.
Ann has an appreciation for art and beauty and is a well-seasoned business entrepreneur. She is an encouraging team builder and multi-tasker. Ann’s greatest passion is ballroom dancing, especially the Viennese Waltz, Swing, and Salsa. She loves all things French, theater, music, and international travel. Ann maintains an environment where patients and guests feel welcomed, safe, and energized. These qualities, combined with Ann’s skills in patient care, communication, and aesthetics, make for a warm and inviting experience at PFRANKMD.
