Spring is here and we are all looking forward to the kind weather and summer’s activities. With this in mind, it is the season of baring skin – which entails protecting it, treating it, and keeping it looking it’s very best. With some new technologies added to the classic lineup of pre-summer treatments, we look forward to catching up with everyone and sharing our seasonal plans.
Dr. Frank is one of a few dozen cosmetic surgeons in the country chosen to receive a pre- autumn launch supply of FDA approved Belotero filler. Made of the same hyaluronic acid substance found in Restylane and Juvederm, Belotero is specially formulated for superficial skin injection allowing us to finally treat fine lines around the mouth and eyes without unsavory changes in the skin texture or color.
Don’t let those hard to lose bulges get you down. Dr. Frank remains one of the most experienced surgeons in the country for performing Tumescent Liposuction under local anesthesia. Using SmartLipo™ laser and Vaser® ultrasound technology in our accredited surgical suite, Dr. Frank will have you back to work in 2 days. For small areas – Liposonix is the new and first totally non-invasive device to permanently remove small stubborn areas of fat on various areas of the body. Performed in less than an hour’s time, a belly and love handles can be treated with immediate return to daily activities. One Treatment, One Hour, One Size Smaller.
Getting rid of excessive and unwanted body hair with exciting speed and amazing comfort is now a reality! Treatment times can now be reduced up to 75% with little or no discomfort. Legs and Backs performed in as little as 15 min. No gels, no mess! Find out more about High Speed LightSheerDuet for permanent hair reduction – so you can save valuable time and eliminate fear of procedure pain. You won’t find this technology in a hair removal spa.
From the makers of Fraxel technology comes Clear & Brilliant- or what Dr. Frank coined Fraxel – light. Using the same unique technology with a novel wavelength of light, the Clear & Brilliant laser provides a minimal downtime way to freshen the skin, even out pigment, tighten pores, while rejuvenating collagen production. Say goodbye to lunchtime chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Click here to find out more about this exciting technology. For Fraxel beginners or patients just looking for a quick fix.
Leg Vein Treatment Just Got A Lot Easier
Sclerotherapy remains the standard of care in ridding yourself of spider veins on the legs. Now with the FDA approved Asclera, removing spider veins is painless and easier than ever. Performed at two week intervals, leg veins can be erased in as little as 1-3 simple treatment sessions.
Elure- Revolutionary Pigment Lightening Lotion
Using a novel fungal extract, Elure offers the first topical product that actually breaks down skin melanin as opposed to merely effecting its production in the skin. Safe, effective and cosmetically elegant, Elure is an exciting new skin technology that Dr. Frank is offering in his practice. Safe to use year round without sun sensitivity, irritation, or toxicity.
Cellulaze – Touted as the new surgical laser cure for cellulite, this procedure is almost identical to the Smartlipo procedure. Unfortunately, cellulite treatments remain very unpredictable and limited in lasting efficacy. There are plenty of competing NON invasive technologies that may work as well. Thus far the medical data is limited … but stay tuned.
Miradry – Using microwave technology, this device is used for underarm sweating and has proven to have long term, if not permanent efficacy. We currently use Botox injections and the Vaser Ultrasound device as our standard of care. We will be watching this new technology.
