Elure™ FAQs
What is elure™?
Elure™ Advanced Skin Lightening Technology is a very effective new topical skin treatment that works to reduce areas of dark pigmentation on the skin. In several clinical studies, patients using elure experienced brighter and more even toned appearance in just 28 days. Elure is effective in reducing the areas of darkened discoloration caused by aging and sun damage by gently reducing melanin in the skin. Elure is an alternative to earlier hyperpigmentation treatments, including laser treatments, chemical peels and topical treatments with hydroquinone.
What conditions does elure treat?
Elure can be used to treat many forms of skin discoloration and hyperpigmentation, including sun spots, age spots, and melasma. Melasma is a common skin condition in which sun exposed parts of the face darken. It tends to affect young women with brownish tones of skin, and can also be related to levels of female hormones (estrogen and progesterone) in the body.
How does elure work?
The treatment plan for elure consists of twice daily applications of two creams for 28 days. When using elure, you will first apply elure’s Active Melanozyme and then apply elure’s Bio-Activator on top. The active ingredient of elure is Melanonzyme™, which is made from lignin peroxidase, a revolutionary ingredient that is naturally obtained from a type of tree fungus. Elure works by directly removing melanin from the upper layers of the skin.
Who can use elure?
Elure is safe and effective for nearly everyone who wishes to remove areas of dark pigmentation from their skin. Only your doctor can determine if elure will work for you, so be sure to consult with your doctor before using elure.
How effective is elure?
Elure is extremely effective in reducing areas of hyperpigmentation on the skin. According to clinical studies, 82% of patients saw a significant decrease in melanin in their skin. 90% of patients reported an overall improvement in the lightness and tone of their skin.
Is elure safe?
Elure is very safe. Clinical tests have revealed that lignin peroxidase is safe for human use even at 17,000 times the recommended dose. Additionally, elure is far safer and gentler than alternative topical treatments, much of which use hydroquinone, which is known to cause skin irritation in many individuals. Additionally, elure actually softens and smooths the skin and provides an overall even tone, thus improving skin quality while reducing dark spots.
Where can I buy elure?
Elure can only be purchased in a doctor’s office or medical spas. Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank is pleased to offer elure to his patients. By consulting with Dr. Frank before purchasing elure at his office, you can be assured that you are buying a treatment that will work well for your skin type and skin condition.
